What is Euro Sizing? How about American Sizing?
We get the question a lot. What is Euro sizing? Euro sizing is bigger than the old American sizing. A typical dinner fork in Euro sizing is 8 1/4″ long as compared to a dinner fork in American sizing which is 7 1/4" long. It is also wider through the tines.
Euro, Liberty, and American Sizing Side by Side
The patterns that are smallest are Susanna, Candra, and Patriot, and Chesapeake. These are of the traditional American sizing. Another name would be "colonial" sizing.
Our largest forks are Euro sized and we have a large selection of patterns to choose from. From our plain, yet elegant, Annapolis, to our timeless Pearl, to even some unique and bold patterns like Calavera.
