Betsy Ross

I almost went with a higher end steel flatware set from Germany, but then I realized.. Why would I not support our own citizens? And so I ordered one of these sets. Very impressed with the quality, large spoons, large forks, heavy knives, a much needed upgrade from inexpensive and easily breakable Chinese flatware. Well worth the price.

My only regret is not buying this sooner. Purchased the 65 piece set in 2024 and this is easily the nicest silverware I've ever used. Registering for this at our wedding would have been ideal but I didn't know how much I'd appreciate it. All the pieces have the perfect heft to them. I kinda wish the knives were not hollow though. That said... This set is several times more expensive than a similar set at a box store, but for the extra cost it is so much nicer and comes with the added benefit of knowing it was made in the USA. If you've ever heard of the boot analogy (you can buy $100 boots every year or you can buy several hundred dollar well made boots and polish/tune em up regularly once) this is the silverware example. As for the style, we took advantage of liberty's trial where for basically the cost of shipping liberty will ship you several dinner forks of different styles and the large shape, smooth surface, heft, simplicity of the design of the Betsy Ross won us over. All the styles we considered felt excellent. If you're considering this purchase, I do recommend it! Also, Liberty never asked for a review, I'm thinking of buying soup spoons and saw that I could leave a review :-).

I rarely take the time to review anything but for this dinnerware I had to. I just bought the Betsy Ross set and I could not be happier. The silverware is stunning with its gorgeous sheen and feels so good in my hand. I love the European sizing. I want my spoons bigger than the traditional American sizing. I also bought the serving pieces, casserole spoons, and meat fork. I did not buy the steak knives but I just might have to get those also. I also love that they are American made. Bravo Liberty tableware you knocked it out of the park.
