The stainless steel we use is American Made, meaning that it is produced according to our strict environmental standards while the same steel produced overseas is largely made using coal generated electricity with little to no concern for the environment. American stainless steel is produced using an average of 85% recycled material and all our scrap is returned to the steel mill to make the next batch. We do not use harsh chemicals or petroleum-based solvents and all our waste is disposed of properly. Finally, we embrace the concept of buying local which in the end is the most environmentally responsible practice.
