Econo-Line by SMI was developed for those who wish to support Made in USA while operating on a limited budget. The flatware has a good weight compared to the sometimes flimsy, economy sets found in discount stores and online. Econo-Line is polished to a three-star finish, also making it superior to most other lower cost sets. While some chafe and other surface imperfections are acceptable at the 3-star level, most will become unnoticeable after a wash and a few days of normal use. Please note that minor imperfections are not considered manufacturing defects. Made from 18/10 stainless steel, the highest grade of stainless used in flatware making, this product will shine for a lifetime. I just received my flatware, and I just love it, got rid of all the other flatware that said Made in China!! Will be buying another set later on. It is absolutely worth it, and I can not believe that Liberty is the only company that makes flatware here in the United States. So very happy they do, not ever buying anything that is made in that China!

Ordered the dinner forks, expecting them to feel thin and cheap. But they are not; they feel just like expensive flatware. They’ve been in the dishwasher dozens of times and look and feel great. I really like them.

I still smile every time I use these. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I noticed me and my girlfriend cook more since we’ve gotten these. I have had them for a year and am back to order salad forks to add to the set. They do not feel like an “eco-line”, they feel very luxury and minimal… it’s hard to explain. I actually get compliments on these, and it’s always a nice experience saying they help keep jobs in the USA. I had a few sets of flatware over the year. I had a somewhat costlier set of forks that were black and over the years, they eventually faded. These feel so natural, making the food we eat feel pure.
You want something timeless and classic, something that will last you a lifetime, this will do that and then some. This set is the best steel you can get, and I genuinely love using them, I actually stopped getting plastic forks when I order take-out so I can use these. One of the best purchases I’ve made in years. Follow the instructions when you first get them, you’re gonna love the shine when you plate food.
