Spectrum News: Sherrill Manufacturing shows off wares at Trump showcase
President Trump’s administration recognized a Mohawk Valley company right at the White House.
Sherrill Manufacturing took part in the “Made in America” product showcase on Monday. One company from each state was invited. Sherrill Manufacturing produces Liberty Tabletop flatware, which is 100 percent made in the U.S.
The co-founder and CEO says it’s difficult to compete with overseas manufacturers because of tariffs and subsidies, so they had to come up with a new business model.
