Setting the All-American table and beyond this holiday season

Well, 2020 has been an interesting year to say the least. While we wish it was under entirely different circumstances our business here at Liberty Tabletop is booming, up 150% year on year. Why? We attribute the sharp increase in sales to a few complementary factors.

Obviously, e-commerce in general has increased substantially as many traditional retails stores were closed down during the first months of the pandemic. Having said that, most are now open again yet we have seen no drop-off in our online sales. Additionally, there has been a big push by the American consumer to buy American, the Made in USA brand has renewed life. This can clearly be seen in Google trends which shows a sharp increase in searches containing the phrase “made in USA”. These factors combined with the fact that most Americans are now spending a lot more time in their kitchens and eating at home have translated into never before seen increases in our flatware sales. This new found love for making the home dinning experience something special is something we need to remember heading into the holiday season.

For several years we have been expanding the Liberty Tabletop site to go beyond the flatware we produce. The idea is to create a “one stop shop” online for everything you need for your tabletop, kitchen, and patio, all Made in the USA! In order to do so we have partnered with over a dozen manufactures that produce products which are all or substantially all made in America. Our product line now includes dinnerware, drinkware, cookware, bakeware, cutting boards, flatware chests, baskets, salt and pepper mills, baby items, kitchen tools, measuring cups, drawer organizers, tote bags, holiday ornaments, and more. We will soon be adding pewter measuring spoons, aprons, can openers, place mats, table cloths and more.

Now more than ever Americans are choosing to support our economy and the American worker by making every attempt to Buy American.
