I had been looking for a higher than average quality set to replace my sub standard set from 1989 that was missing several pieces. I sought out a set that had some weight to it while being solid and full in the hand rather than just an empty feeling shell of a generic cast that you find almost everywhere. In short I was trying to find something with a similar feel to what my Grandmothers sterling silver set feels like. Now that’s a tall order and I checked out all of the stores, from BB&B to Target, Macy’s to Bloomingdales and even Pottery Barn and William Sonoma. Now I did find some with similar feels but they were not made in the USA and I am not going to support china, India, vietnam, korea or any other NON USA company, I don’t care which retailer sells it. My research was extensive and that is how I found LIBERTY. I am so glad that I held out as I sought out an AMERICAN made set. LIBERTY’s set is PERFECT and well worth the investment, which if I may add, is worth its price. If you are truly seeking out a set that you will be happy with, I recommend you find your favorite three or six sets like I did, order LIBERTY’s sample set and pay the minimal purchase price. You’ll be glad you did as you will be able to handle their pieces and make the decision that is best for you. In addition the pieces you purchased can be used as serving pieces or just spares. I made my decision and placed my order. The set was quickly packed and shipped and I had it in a few days.
If you are truly looking for something that you will enjoy for years that is made with a level of Quality you will be pleased with for years. Make the investment with LIBERTY, you’ll be glad you did. For me, the Pearl flatware set is perfect in every way. I love it and am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. The pieces are simple yet elegant, classy and of superior quality, and a joy to handle because of the balance and weight built into each piece. It will be a valuable heirloom set to pass on to our children. I am extremely impressed with the fact. too, that everything involved in the manufacturing process is entirely American-made. I bought this flatware with confidence knowing that the steel itself used in the pieces were not going to be harmful to our health, as I suspect other sets such as Chinese products, probably are. I love the look of the set. They feel balanced and light on my hand. I would have preferred just a little more pronounced pearls. I liked the weightiness of the Hostess Set. I would have preferred a little weightier on the Serving Set and the 5 piece place setting.
