We previously purchased another pattern (Pearl) for a gift for our son and daughter in law and they rave about it all the time. So, we decided that we deserved our own nice flatware set and my husband wanted a simplified pattern and chose Patriot. Well, having it in my household convinced me that this is the best flatware and worth every penny! So much so that we have decided to gift another set to a different adult child’s household this year for Christmas. I don’t spend my money on things other than quality and useful things….this is both. The quality is proven by the original condition still holding up – even to my son’s way of loading a dishwasher (still gives me shivers up the spine) – LOL. Seriously the original set gifted still looks brand spanking new! Our set is lovely, and I have NO doubts that the other set we will be gifting will be just as nice.
