I purchased the Anchors Aweigh Old Harbor setting for 12 and the 5 piece serving set is a perfect complement! The Stainless in the U.S.A. also does NOT rust in the dishwasher! The design is great. I obsessively removed the polishing compound by hand before their initial dishwasher run. Therefore I don’t know if the compound will easily come off in the dishwasher. However, I had recently purchased other expensive well-known flatware that rusted after one time in the dishwasher, so frankly I didn’t mind cleaning off the polish the first time!!! The flatware is great and I recommend this company to anyone needing flatware. And if you are giving a wedding gift, I urge you NOT to purchase the overseas manufactured flatware as it rusts!! I have Oneida flatware that is over 30 years old and it has never rusted. But when I purchased one of Oneida’s most popular expensive new styles, most of the pieces had RUST after ONE TIME in the dishwasher. Apparently this is a well-known problem in the industry with the Stainless from Vietnam and other countries. Think about it: Why did Oneida move their plants FROM the U.S.A to overseas — to cheapen the product and put more profit in the stock holders pockets!! Stay with Liberty and save the hassles I went thru! (and I have not been paid for my review nor do I know anyone that works at Liberty! Just being honest!!)
