The Modern America soup spoons are high-quality, beautiful-looking spoons. My spouse did not like eating soups with the place spoon, so I purchased these. He loves them. My issue is that I cannot tell the difference between the soup spoons and the sugar spoons that we have from the Modern America collection. They look identical and it’s impossible to tell them apart in our flatware drawer.The soup spoons and sugar spoons are 6″ long and 1.3 oz in weight. They look and feel small/lighter compared to the place spoon, which is 7″ and 1.8 oz.

High quality flatware made in the USA. Real stainless steel, not that cheap foreign stuff that rusts after a few months. I’ve been using the Moderen America pattern flatware for over a decade. It is good looking, strong, and does not bend like the others.

Made in USA! It’s so difficult to find anything anymore that’s made here by Americans. Most everything is cheap, low quality crap made in China. These soup spoons are a wonderful addition to our collection. We love them. We use them for soup, chili, cereal, just to name a few. They are sturdy and beautiful quality.

The scale is not small though smaller than normal restaurant spoons. This is also an advantage as while they are modern in name they are based on a classic size which is the best of both designs. If you’re on this website either you appreciate USA companies or you understand that you may be eating several meals with flatware for a long time, so let’s make it right. Yes for design, weight, material AND size.
