We’re enjoying our Industrial Rim set HERE IN OUR APT IN NEW YORK CITY!!! Originally bought it for our place in Italy…We have decided to enjoy it here and now…It goes great with everyday china….Originally bought the round soup spoons and our friends kept asking if they were Italian made…Sorry guys our spoons are MADE IN AMERICA and made so well…Nothing to envy Italian brands…By the way…We love Italy and MADE IN ITALY as well…!!!

The the finish looks very old world European but simple . Nice weight . Finally found a flatware to replace my 30 year old set . I liked that it is made USA

We love the weight, the feel, and the style of this flatware. It doesn’t show finger prints which was important to me. I feel like it can be dressed up or down. It’s excellent quality and we wanted flatware made in the USA. I highly recommend Liberty.

Made in USA, using US sourced materials, and giving jobs to the American people. QUALITY is so rare to come by with any items purchased these days. I would like to see some tubular, chunky, and rustic flatware available on this site. You got my business, because I appreciate the upfront honesty of where everything is manufactured and sourced. I was extra appreciative of the flatware line. I truly believe that the United States needs to bring back more factories with quality products built to last. Highly recommend!

We purchased the 65 piece set of Industrial Rim flatware – 12-person place settings plus 5 piece service set. We also ordered a set of 4 ice tea spoons and 8 soup spoons in the same design.

We are very pleased with the set – good weight without being too heavy, feels like quality pieces, simple design, and feels good in the hand. Would have preferred the option to choose a solid or hollow handle dinner knife in this design (as available in several other designs) but not a major issue for us. There shipping was fast and efficient. The flatware quality is much better than any Made in China/Indonesia/Vietnam sets we have had in past.

We bought our first house about a year ago and had been using a $50 set of flatware from Walmart which did the job for the past year but some of the knives were starting to tarnish/rust and we knew we wanted to eventually replace as they were only 18/0 stainless steel and made in China. These feel so much nicer and more durable and we hope they will last a lifetime. Very happy they are made in USA and are of 18/10 stainless steel.

We first ordered samples which I would highly recommend unless you know exactly what you want. Testing them out and holding them really changed our minds in what we wanted. We compared different designs, sizes, and finishes (polished/satin/tumbled). We chose Industrial Rim as we preferred the tumbled designs as they look more vintage and don’t show fingerprints. We discovered we don’t really like the shiny/polished look for everyday silverware (our prior set was a Satin finish). We also wanted thinner rounded handles and it was our only option as there are only two tumbled designs and the other (American Industrial) has a chunkier more square handle.

The Industrial Rim design (and Industrial America) is great for someone who likes matte flatware and a more used/vintage look with an unfussy design. If you like the more traditional shiny and polished look, you probably won’t like these (consider the Classic Rim). If you like a more intricate design, you also probably won’t love these. The design itself will go with most table settings. We were actually planning to go with something completely plain but these work well with us as the design is still pretty simple.

I will say that our preferred sizing is the Liberty sizing (in between Euro and American) but we went with these which are Euro sizing and do feel the dinner forks and table spoons are a bit larger than we prefer. But went with these because of the design and finish. Our other complaint about the Industrial Rim design is that a number of pieces are not available in this design – this includes the 3 piece hostess set pieces, steak knives, and demitasse coffee spoons. So we had to order these items in other designs (we found the closest option to be American Industrial as same finish or Classic Rim as same design but very shiny). This is probably our biggest complaint as we almost reconsidered ordering from Liberty given that we had to order items from three different designs to get all the items for the set we wanted.

I do think Liberty would be more competitive with some European brands of similar quality if they offered more customization in sizing and finishes. For instance it would be nice to have the option to choose a design, then a size, and then a finish for some of the most popular designs and be able to get any item with those choices. While a customer may have to wait longer for this versus choosing a set one already ready for shipment, I think it would capture more people. We would certainly have chosen a different design if we could have had the tumbled finish on a different design.

Overall, we have had a good experience with Liberty and are very satisfied with our choices and what we received. We are very happy that there is still at least one company making flatware in the USA using American materials and workers. We plan to take care of them and hopefully that are a buy it for life item.
