I am very happy with Liberty Champlin flatware. The pattern is beautiful and looks elegant on the table. Well balanced in weight and so smooth to touch. I have many hand problems but using this flatware is a pleasure. Washing in dishwasher or by hand results in really stain less flatware. Made in USA another reason for purchase. I will be purchasing an additional set.

The Champlin design is really lovely and feels so nice in the hand. The set washed up beautifully in the dishwasher. We originally thought that we’d like another more simple design better, but fell in love with Champlin after we tried the sample fork we ordered. We wound up loving Champlin and Kensington surprisingly, after initially thinking we would like a more straight lined, simplified style better. We found the gently rounded curves of Champlin make it feel more comfortable & natural to hold in the hand though. It is interesting to see which designs you wind up loving most after ordering samples to try out. Things you didn’t even realize would be a flatware preference become readily apparent when you have different samples to use & compare. I was also comfortable with the Champlin design being less simplified and having some scrollwork since we know the Liberty set won’t rust, unlike our recently purchased Oneida set had. Many pieces of our Oneida (Made in Vietnam) set developed rust spots in the grooves where the pattern engravings were, in between the fork tines, and also on the knives. Holding the Champlin flatware next to our Oneida set, it was startling to see and feel the difference in quality. And the Oneida set is only two years old. So we really couldn’t be more pleased with Champlin! The photos don’t do the designs justice. I originally just skipped right over the Champlin & Kensington pictures, but wound up circling back to them since we needed to pick a few more samples. So it was really surprising that they wound up being the design samples we loved most. Trying out the samples was a fun learning experience. Also, none of the pieces we tested out were magnetized; which I know is an issue for many who are concerned about toxins. I will definitely order a set of Kensington, more Champlin pieces, & possibly a set of Annapolis too, at some point since we love Annapolis as well. Something as simple as adding a little variety to the things we use daily at home can lift the spirits. Many of us are still not comfortable to dine out at restaurants due to Covid surges. So it can be a refreshing change to be able to temporarily switch things up with our flatware and dishes when boredom does strike, & Lord knows our flatware gets used more than ever at home these days with all the cooking we do! Therefore, it is definitely a worthwhile investment. Liberty also seems to offer sales on the different patterns at times; which is nice. Sales provide that perfect incentive/excuse/reason to hurry up & purchase that pretty new USA made flatware you’ve been eyeing! The Champlin design is beautiful, and is one that the boys & men in your life will enjoy using too. Also, customer service is excellent if you need assistance. Amy helped me & was such a sweetheart. She was super responsive & emphasized that quality and customer satisfaction is the company’s top priority. Lastly, it just feels good to support an American made company. I learned that the company is expanding; which is wonderful. That will create more jobs for more Americans, thereby improving the livelihoods of those employees & their families; which will in turn strengthen our economy too in the long run. So it really feels good to invest in a USA made company. We’ve obviously had entirely too much time spent trapped at home to contemplate our flatware options this much. Lol. That being said-we obviously did our research, and we chose Liberty! Anyone on the fence about ordering, I highly recommend “refreshing” your flatware with this company, even if only because you need a little pick me up & are seeking ways to add variety to your daily, home bound, pandemic survival routine! You won’t regret it!
