We were all set to purchase the beautiful American Gardens pattern and then saw this pattern when it came out. We were so impressed with the beauty and craftsmanship of the American Outdoors pattern that we purchased the set the next day. The well done wildlife impressions were lovely and the background leaf pattern worked with our dining room and table cloth. On a different note, I have arthritis in my hands that makes heavy, smooth flatware difficult to handle. This pattern has a slight texture front and back which works perfectly for me. I also appreciate the slightly lighter weight of this line- easier to hold and use. Beautiful, practical, AND made in America, just what we were looking for. Thanks.
