Aunt Dorothy’s Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie mix)
  • 3 ½ cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. all-spice
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 2/3 cup water

Pumpkin Bread ingredients

Pumpkin Bread Instructions 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat together sugar, oil, and eggs. Stir in pumpkin. Add other dry ingredients, spices, and water. Blend well. Pour batter into two greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Makes two loaves.
