I bought my service for 12 of Prestige almost a year ago. I already had a similar set of Cedarcrest and I loved the quality, but I fell in love with the beautiful Prestige pattern when it was first released. This is truly a versatile pattern that mixes well with a broad spectrum of table settings, from upscale casual to elegantly formal. Just for fun, I’m considering ordering a few settings of Sheffield, then mixing up my own ‘hotel’ set of mixed pieces with all of Liberty’s beautiful patterns.

I am so pleased with my recent order of a set of 65 pieces of Prestige Flatware. Initially I ordered several samples which were a great way to confirm my choice of pattern and style. Both the samples and my final order arrived quickly, in my case within three days after placing the order. The flatware is so well made and a true pleasure to use. I am old enough to remember when one could go to any good department store and buy a quality set of American made flatware, but sadly that is not the case anymore, and I was so happy to find Liberty Tableware when I looked for a new set of flatware. I have mixed opinions about my new Prestige Flatware. I like the of the fork, knife and teaspoon’s shape and weight. The soup spoons are too small and the salad forks are too large. The knives have absolutely no serration and can’t cut anything other than butter. The knives inability to cut is a great disappointment.

I love my new Prestige silverware. I would describe the design as being a mix of contemporary and traditional designs. I was so happy to find silverware made in the US. I bought the 45-piece set along with the Hostess set, and I’m about to go back and order a few additional pieces. This is the first time I’ve ever spent this much money on an every-day set, but it’s worth it if the quality stands up to years of use. Also, I want to say that I had occasion to communicate with the customer service department, and Amy was attentive, pleasant, and responsive.

We finally decided to retire our original set of Oneida Deluxe Independence pattern stainless steel flatware. It was a wedding gift (1977). I feel so good about purchasing our new set of Liberty Prestige flatware knowing that not only did we purchase beautiful flatware, but we continue to have the connection with our first set of flatware.
Now, with respect to the Prestige flatware; we appreciate the understated pattern along with the size and weight of each piece. Knowing that Liberty flatware is made in the United States using domestic materials is icing on the cake. FYI, we looked at many other brands of flatware at all the well-known department stores. We looked for months! While some were definitely more expensive, those higher prices did not represent a discernably better product. So, we bought 1 place setting of Prestige to make sure it was what we wanted. After about a week of further consideration, we did it! We bought a complete set including steak knives and iced tea spoons (we would have even bought grapefruit spoons if they were available). I always like to say “price alone is meaningless” and “no one was ever sorry they bought the best”. In this case, both are so true.

I wanted to get new flatware but I had no idea what I was looking for, other than I knew I wanted it to be slightly larger and slightly heavier than what I already had. I figured I’d know it when I saw it. I found Liberty Tabletop through a Google search, and browsed through the patterns, several of which caught my eye. I purchased the samples of my top 3, and as soon as I picked up the Prestige dinner fork, I knew it was the one. It looked and felt luxe, but it wasn’t too ornate or gaudy. I went all in and got the super set with doubles of all the serving pieces, plus iced tea spoons — pretty much everything that was offered in the pattern. I use this as my everyday flatware and I love it as much as the first time I held the sample. I visit the website every so often just to see if any new pieces have been added (hello cereal spoons!) I’ve told all my friends about Liberty Tabletop, I’m just super impressed with the quality and design.
