What we sell:

  • Liberty Tabletop sells high quality stainless steel flatware (silverware). We choose not to manufacture or sell-low end products. Our products and pricing are on par with what you would expect to find at the high-end of a big box store up to the high-end at a luxury department store.
  • The flatware is 100% produced in the USA by Sherrill Manufacturing, our parent company. The stainless steel we use is also of U.S. origin.

  • Many American manufacturing companies folded up shop over the past few decades in the face of cheap imports from countries like China. Strange as it sounds this is when we jumped in to the manufacturing business with both feet. We are taking advantage of the “cheapening up” of branded outsourced product in our industry by once again offering consumers a choice. Liberty Tabletop gives customers an opportunity to purchase high quality flatware that is made with care and attention to detail, the way it used to be. Our product is also free from materials and processes that could cause harm to your health or that of the dedicated employees who manufacture it.
  • We believe in our flatware and have no problem backing that up with a “no questions asked return policy”.
  • Our flatware is priced to be an excellent value vs the imports. This is possible because we sell direct and have cut out all of the middlemen along with their outrageous markups that you pay when buying at traditional retail channels. There is no store making 70% or brand that puts their name on a box and makes 50%. Because of this, you will not be asking anyone to pay more than you would for a similar weight/finish for an imported product at a retail store. Again, we are not asking for a Made in USA premium and we are competitive with China!
  • We want you to be successful at selling our flatware and will gladly show our appreciation by paying you a nice commission check for every set you sell.
  • We do not use and would not want our representatives to use high pressure sales tactics. Liberty tabletop offers excellent quality products at a great price vs. the imports. All you have to do is get the word out, talk through a few simple selling points and the product virtually sells itself!

It is very likely that you will share our view that supporting manufacturing in the United States is an important step towards shoring up our economy and protecting our way of life. We all do quite a bit of talking about this issue but here is an opportunity to actually do something that will have an immediate and direct positive impact! By supporting Liberty Tabletop, promoting our brand and helping us grow our company you will not only be earning commission dollars, you will also be supporting American job growth not only here at Liberty Tabletop/Sherrill Manufacturing but also with our vendors and professionals. Liberty Tabletop pays excellent commission rates compared to other programs: 20%!

Our commission structure is simple. 30 days after the sale we send out weekly commission checks for non-returned sales. The commission rate is 25% less the 5% that you shared with your friends, family and co-workers. You make a straight 20% on everything you sell!

Why 25% then split 5% for the customer and 20% for you? We want to protect you against your customers potentially ordering off the website directly and you not being rewarded with your commission. The best way to do this is to give the customers you present too an additional 5% (incentive) that they would not get by “going around you”. That encourages them to order through you and will give you full credit for every lead and sale you generate. By making this a one-step process we make the administration of this special discount easy to manage. The customer gets their extra 5% and you are credited with the sale.

Why 30 days? We have a 30 day no questions return policy in place for all customers including the ones that you sell. This is a big selling point that you should emphasize and will help you sell more. It would be really complicated to charge back commissions based on returns so we will pay them after this period is over, so this makes it simple and easy for everyone.

Unlike many direct marketing programs we do not require you to pay for and then keep your selling kit. You will be asked to pay a deposit to cover the cost of the kit when you sign up. If and when you decide to stop your selling efforts simply return the kit in good condition for a full refund of the deposit. Our objective here is not to make money by selling kits; rather it is to make this an easy, risk free decision for you. No gimmicks here.

Why “virtually” risk free? Well, you may decide to throw a party for your friends and may elect to buy snacks, beverages, give-away items etc… There is a possibility that you don’t sell anything to cover those costs. This is your choice, not a requirement by any means. Also, we are planning on re-using the display boxes, they are expensive. We will ask you to take good care of the box while you are using it and to return it in good condition with all of the flatware intact. If for some reason that does not happen we will reserve the right to deduct from the refund. We sincerely hope that will not happen.

Becoming a sales representative for Liberty Tabletop is easy. Simply respond to the form below indicating that you are interested. We will then send you an email with additional information. This will include the “Independent Distributor Agreement” to be signed and returned.  Once that is done we will process your order for the kit. The kit will arrive in a few days and you can get started!

We will provide you with selling tips which give you the product knowledge you need to be successful. We will also give you suggestions on how to organize parties and other techniques to help you with the sales effort. There is really no need for a high-pressure sales pitch here. The products are an excellent value vs the imports and are in support of a cause almost everyone believes in. Again, all you have to do is get the word out and the product sells itself!

Our plan is simple, easy to understand and involves no gimmicks at all:

There will be no obligation to sell and no other commitments other than returning the kit for a full refund of your deposit if and when you choose to do so.

There is no pyramid scheme or re-marketing effort required.

There are a few things that we ask our representatives not to do:

1) We do not want do damage our brand by discounting our products and selling them on venues like Amazon, eBay and Craigslist. Our representatives are asked not to do this and if we detect this kind of activity we will reserve the right to cancel the agreement and ask you to return your kit.
2) We do not want our representatives to set up a website in competition with our site and others that are listing our products online. We have a separate program designed to handle website customers as well as boutique store customers.   If you are interested in that program ,we will be happy to explore that opportunity with you.

How the discount, commission and ordering process works:

Once you become a rep you will be given a unique discount code for use on our website. This will automatically give your customers an additional 5% discount off of the current sale price on the website. It will also be the mechanism that is used to track and pay you your commission.

Ordering will be identical to the process of any customer visiting our website, with the exception of the discount code. When your customer places, or you help them place, an order online you will simply enter the code when prompted and then follow the normal procedure.

Your customer will pay for the order directly with their credit card and we will ship the product to them directly. The week immediately following 30 days after the purchase we will use the code to isolate all your orders and send your commissions check. It is really that simple.

A frequently asked question is the security involving credit cards. Our website uses TransFirst to process payments. They are a large, recognized, independent credit card processing company with all of the appropriate security in place. Credit card payments are processed directly on their site and your customer’s card information is not recorded anywhere on our server or site. We believe, as most do, that this is the best way to protect everyone’s card information.
